Locked the Document Format – Microsoft Word 2007 has feature that enable the user locking the format giving in a document. It means, if you activate this feature in your document, nobody can give the format, whatever the format such as bold, italic, underline or changes kind of font or the size of its, if they do not know what the password is.

This formatting lock is valid for making the reader cannot add the others style in the document, and cannot changes its color. The shortcut keyboard for formatting several orders such as [Ctrl] + [B], [Ctrl] + [I] and suchlike are non activates too.

1. operates the Microsoft Word, then open the document that you want to protect the format of its through menu [File] > [Open].

2. After document opens, click [Review] > [Protect Document] > [Restrict Formatting and Editing].

3. Task Pane Restrict Formatting and Editing will show in the right of windows. Give mark checkbox in [Limit formatting a selection of styles]. If it finish, so no one can changes the format setting in your document.

4. In order to apply changes that you did in its, then click [Yes, Start Enforcing Protection].

5. after you click this button, the dialog box will show in monitor that will ask you insert the password. This password will use for activating the lock formatting.

Well, your document is secure now from the bad hand that will damage the format document that you make before. If you want to activate this protection again, click [Review] > [Protect Document] > [Restrict Formatting and Editing] > [Stop Protection], and then insert the password that you determine before.
