Higher Video Quality From Youtube – YouTube increase their video quality up to 1080p. The presence of high-quality impressions on YouTube was first introduced at NewTeeVee event in 2007.

It is reported that so far, about half of 1080p contents that are available on YouTube’s database have been re-encoding. But, it’s only about 10% of the playback in YouTube is a high-quality player. Moreover, Youtube is also receiving more and more content from mobile devices. Even for this year, mobile upload activity increased to 2000%!  YouTube have demonstrated the HTML 5-based YouTube player. This is proofing that they are interested in allowing its content more widely accessible.
