Dell Wasabi PZ310, the Photo Printer without Ink – Do you still remember about ZINK (Zero Ink) that the printer without ink? What ever the reason, but Dell is plays in portable printer market also with technology which just like Zink.
Dell Wasabi PZ310 sized about 0,9 x 4,8 x 2,8 inches and not wider one. Wasabi PZ310, which is without need ink and only nee time about less than a minute, can prints the coloring photo from digital camera, cell phone or another mobile device.
ZINK (Zero Ink), just like the name, Wasabi is not need ink to photo print processing and then not need to changes cartridge printer or another hand problem that heat by ink stain.
The paper that in use to ZINK technology is come from composite material that contain Dye Cyan crystal, yellow, magenta and on the surface layer coated with polymer.
You can print photo to Wasabi through two ways there are USB connection, which is base on PictBridge and wireless via Bluetooth. Unfortunately, only Blackberry Curve and Motorola RAZR V3 Bluetooth device that recognized Wasabi, there are no compatible for iPhone and iPhone 3G.
The portable Wasabi printer has weight about 8 ounces and powered by a Li-Ion 450mAh battery, which able to print about 15 photos. This printer available on 3 color options: black, pink and blue. The Wasabi salver able to accommodate maximally about 12 sheets paper.
Dell Wasabi PZ310 estimated will sale about US$ 149 and for photo paper sale in two packages: for 24 sheets about US$ 9 and for 48 sheets about US$ 16 only.
