Is your PC not completed with Trusted Platform Module chip(TPM chip)? Well, you don’t have to worry about that. You can still use the BitLocker Drive Encryption with the flash disk.
Unfortunately, this option is being hide by Microsoft. Here are the tips to activating it:
1. Click [Start], then write “gpedit.msc”, then press [Enter] to run the Group Policy Editor.
2. After the Group Policy Editor opened, get into the Computer Configuration, Administrative Templates, Windows Components, and BitLocker Drive Encryption.
3. Right click to [Control Panel Setup: Enable advanced startup options], then click [Properties].
4. Click [Enabled] then click [OK].
5. Now you can use the BitLocker Drive Encryption flash disk.
But you have to remember one thing. Every time you are using it, you have to implant the flash disk every time you turn the computer on. If the flash disk is not implanted, the PC couldn’t do the booting.
