When we run the Outlook Express, we will be brought to the main folder which filled by the connection to many Outlook Express facilities. But perhaps you are not really need this page because you see it often and perhaps you have recognize what are in it.
I think it would be better if you change this page with the other HTML file which is more useful. In order to change this file, you cannot do it with drag and drop like windows style. You will have to edit the registry first.
Here are the tips to do it:
- Run the Registry Editor by clicking the start > run then write regedit > Enter.
- Write in the key HKEY_CURRENT_USER-Identities-{CBE5A5A0-18F8-11D7-B853-A13BA0B81D26}-Software-Microsoft-Outlook Express-5.0.
- make a new string data by doing the right click at your mouse in the right side of the windows then choose [New] > [String value], then give a name FrontPagePath.
- double click that string data then filled with the HTML file address you want to use, for example D:-index.html.
In order to see the result, you can try to run your Outlook Express and make sure that you are in the main folder. If you want to take it back just like before, you can delete that sting data. Good luck!
